Honorary Consulate-General of Turkey


The Honorary Consulate-General of Turkey is the so-called controller in the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). This means that the Honorary Consulate-General of Turkey decides which information is being processed, with what purpose and in what manner.

The Honorary Consulate-General of Turkey is responsible for ensuring that the personal data that she obtains is processed in accordance with the AVG and in a decent and delicate manner.

Sometimes we receive your information, for example via acquaintances, in order to receive the newsletter. We do not sell that information, nor do we exchange your information with companies.

How do we make sure that your information is safe with us?

Our website and IT-systems are well protected. Moreover, we constantly take measures to prevent misuse of your information. Our employees received clear instructions on how to process your data.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data for as long as we need it in order to send the newsletter until you unsubscribe, or as long as we legally need to keep it. After this we delete your data or make sure that the information can no longer be linked to you.

We comply with the laws and regulations relating to privacy. For instance:
